This is the Right Hand Panel for the lovely Ode to the North II Triptych
This painting is part of a series called “Ode to the North” to commemorate Canada’s 150th celebration. I chose the panoramic format to capture the vast scope of our country. The iconic images of the Pines, rocks and water are set against a backdrop of an ethereal sky. The streaming light from above unto the land is in reference to God’s blessings and prayers to ‘keep our land glorious and free’.
